In the past month, I’ve concluded that it’s necessary to make a series of small differences before one can make a big difference. It sounds quite easy, but often in practice it’s challenging.
We are highly observant, impatient creatures. We want to see immediate changes in anything we touch or focus on. Whether it’s a social media, a new web app, personal fitness or generic self-improvements, we must also exercise patience and discipline.
I’ve noticed that through making a series of small changes – choosing the right fuels for my body – to dedicating time every night or so to running or lifting weights. It rendered some results even if unscientific, it’s results nonetheless. I feel more energized and motivated to attack the day.
Just over the past week, my stamina and performance has been improving. Just after a week! It wasn’t easy, but it shows that patience and discipline makes a difference to see some changes.
Before you can expect great changes, you must do a series of smaller ones.
