I have many websites and planned to cancel my GoDaddy service. Looking around, it’s clear that GoDaddy has a majority of the market, but there is an alternative registrar that is affordable and is highly recommended. Shortly, once I endure a root-canal to cancel my GoDaddy account, I will be using Namecheap.
Namecheap is not only less expensive, they provide better service than the incumbent, GoDaddy. Their online support is knowlegable and friendly. Also, their user interface is no-nonsense and easy to use. This matters to me and likely many other website owners. Don’t let the name fool you, they also have rockstars like Tamar Weinberg supporting them on Twitter and they provide better service than GoDaddy.
Soon, I will share why I no longer do business with GoDaddy, but for the interim, for your domain registration needs, consider checking out Namecheap. Yes, it’s an affiliate link, but if you consider the amount of money I’ve spent with GoDaddy and the pain in cancelling GoDaddy, you won’t mind giving me a little charity.
If you are looking for a GoDaddy alternative, Namecheap is the place to check out. Transfers are easy, registrations are simple and it’s relatively affordable. If you are switching your domains from GoDaddy like I did, use the promo code SWITCH2NC for a few bucks off.
