Update: As of January 27, 2017, I no longer work for Local Motors. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
After much thought and consideration, I am happy to announce that I have joined the Local Motors team in Chandler, AZ. I am incredibly grateful for all the people at Infusionsoft for a rewarding seven years and am eager to apply my talents toward another growth-oriented company.
Simply, Local Motors is a leader in automotive innovation. Most known for their Rally Fighter, they aren’t stopping at that. They have reinvented the way tricycles, motorcycles and electric vehicles are manufactured. They have a variety of projects happening at once, and I couldn’t be more inspired to join the company at this time. Their 3D Printed Car is a preview of things to come from the company.
I also have a genuine admiration for the creators and entrepreneurs who aren’t afraid to try. That characteristic is found all around the microfactory. The innovators inside and outside the building desire to dramatically improve the experience for others. It’s this essence of entrepreneurship that I have come to love and appreciate. Everyone here has an entrepreneurial mindset as they all come together in their individual ways to deliver powerful innovations to the market.
It feels good to be getting back to my roots within the space of community management and social media. I live, eat and breathe social. I can’t wait to put together some plans and to be ‘that guy’ who snaps photos and incessantly shares all the fun activities the company is doing. At the outset, I’ll be doing a lot of learning and analysis into the products, the customers and the industry at large. Once I get into my groove, you’ll know about it.
I have been humbled by all the comments on my Facebook announcement marking my departure from Infusionsoft. It makes me truly delighted that I have been able to have such an impact on so many people. Thank you. It truly means a lot to me. I wish the team, partners and community the best as they continue to make Arizona proud.
There is a lot to expect from this shop in the desert.
