JetBlue to Accomodate E-Mail, In-flight

Business travelers often rejoice (or complain) about the private solitude of business flights because they remain distant and are unable to communicate with the office until they land. JetBlue is changing that by offering in-flight e-mail from major providers such as GMail, MSN/Live/Hotmail, AOL/AIM, Amazon and even Outlook connectivity.

And it’s included for Free.

They are also continuing their awesome DirectTV service they already offer for passengers.

While it’s not full-blown unfiltered Internet to snag the latest Torrents from — it does yield benefits to those business folks who frequently fall behind in their e-mail and need time to catch up.

I guess this goes to show that fears over consumer electronics taking down an aircraft are overblown, because clearly JetBlue is leveraging consumer devices to provide additional value in their services.

In my experience, JetBlue provides customer service that no other carrier has, and their communistic style of giving everyone First Class is a nice perk.
