This is MIKE JONES’ phone number. He says it in his songs, since he wasn’t that popular. Now that his ‘Back Then’ song exploded, he has a $250,000.00 phone bill from Sprint. He later switched to a new carrier. *LOL*

Did a little more research, flagged by rfbandit… it wasn’t $250k bill, as that was just an april fool’s joke. However, per about.com (reputable source)

So many people called him that his Cingular bill soared to $1,000 a month. He shopped around for a better phone company, got another cell number and not only did his bills go down to around $150 a month, his new number, 281-330-8004, blew up so big, phone companies jocked him to promote their services.
